Mark_Dj I am having trouble with my Vectra Diesel. The management light comes on and my Turbo stops working . Once the light is off it works a dream . The light comes on and off as I am driving. Any help would be great (It's an Sri 2.2 Diesel, Vectra B )
vocky check the small black pipes under the bonnet, usually one is split or a bad seal where they join :roll:
Mark_Dj Well I have sorted them out but now when I start it up the management light comes on but when I rev it, it goes off notsure.gif . I also think I have a dodgy battery as when I first start her up the lights on my computer display flicker for a little while and so does my interior light dunno.. . It all goes back to normal when it's running a little while
Mark_Dj I had a good look around it and followed the pipes to check them all and they did seem fine. I even removed the cover on the engine for a look at the leak off pipes and they seem fine. I will have a peek about tomorrow 🙂. Cheers
Mark_Dj Don't think so. I started her up today and the management light came on not long after I started it up. I rev it and it goes off. I can hear the Turbo no problem, so thats working fine.
vocky usually that's an indication of a leak somewhere dunno.. might also be one of the solenoids sticking :roll:
Mark_Dj A leak like those pipes I was messing around with? Also what the solenois like to un stick, will I have to get new ones. Cheers 🙂
vocky yes those damn small leaky pipes :roll: they drove me nuts :lol: the solenoids are at the end of some of the pipes, some can be swapped around, not sure on the dti engine solenoid position :roll:
Mark_Dj Cheers mate. I have just got this one as I done a deal with my old Vectra Dti. I have not even drove it properly yet as it's waiting for mot and tax. The car is mint, it's been well looked after and was a cat c damage one my mate bought. It's my fist 2.2 diesl and when it was running good it was quick 🙂. The damage was very easy, it's still got the original bumper on thats how easy it was lol. Pics are in the garage section
