Well, It arrived at last yesterday!! Customs got me for £30 but thats no biggy, Total cost £210 all in 😃 and to top it off I won some 2.0 SC injectors on ebay.com for £20 and £8 postage from canada! GET IN!! cheers..
I asked a while back what outside diameter of the 2.4 TB was so I could make up the right size pipework when I fitted the dbilas flowmaster. Well as you can see from the pics bellow its 70mm OD and 66mm ID. So Still bigger then the 58mm standard one, but 2mm smaller than the SC TB. Not to worry though becouse its actually a Perfectly matched size to the TB port of the manifold and suits my intake pipework beautifully as its 68mm at the smallest point so no restrictions anywhere! 😃 woohoo.gif

As you can see, the manifold came with all the relevent gaskets including the special backfire blowout seal in the middle. Apparently if things go really wrong with the EGR or intake system and you get an explosion, then the metal part blows open and allows the air to escape rather than blowing the rocker cover or head off? something like that anyway, I didnt quite understand when i was told TBH. doh...
I'm in work 12hrs tonight so Im going to make up one of them ECU brakets that Maik very kindley provided drawings for, but in all honesty, I dont think it will work for the astra or vectra as we havnt enough room between the ecu plugs and the intake pipework notsure.gif ....if there is its going to be tight ass fit moon.. ...but theres only one way to find out hey!! lol.
Tell you what! youve got to love the smilleys on this forum!! bleh..
