Vectra-c.com did a RR day today at Mini Sport with a good range of lumps there (unfortunately no 2.2's)

Now forget about the big boys at the top with there 3.2's. Look at the torque the 3L cdti's are kicking out :shock: The 1.9's are all mapped or boxed the highest boxed one being #8 fitted with a ebay box (caterman) costing £63, yes thats £63 for an extra 43 bhp!!! Nutron did a second run with his box turned right up and ended up getting 225 bhp! So how does this leave the old petrol lump, is a diesel the new weapon of choice, 200bhp and 40+ mpg. This is why my next car is going to be an astra cdti, same power in a smaller car, it must go like stink.
So any of u guys thought about a diesel? Except 220 owners of course, the sound of tractors in an open top sports car doesn't really do it I think.
