simon_thorpe I have found a small amount of oil dripping on top of the gearbox i have checked around the head and it is dry but it is damp around the pas pump is this a common fault and is there a gasket/seal there and how much of a job is it do?
JohnnyN Power steering pump seal. Mines gone twice. Rubber seal sits between the pump and the end of the cam shaft. Drain the fluid pot with a turkey baster or hydrometer. Disconnect pipe work. Replace the seal. The seal pack is about £22.
