Unfortunatly Youll get what you pay for. I hope I'm wrong but them blue side lamps never work for a start, and the lamps all look like theyve been dipped in blue paint, which looks dreadfull in the daylight when the blue shines off the reflectors. Unfortunalty all the cheap ones are like this, thats why there so cheap and thats the look you get.
What you should have bought is the dearer Quartz glass style ones in my experiance. They look far better on or off, and arnt just dipped in blue paint. They dont tint the lenses blue in daylight and look ultra cool at night. You can see the differance in the picture bellow.

These are the ones I have, made by GP Thunder and very popular in america where theyve relised the differance. Unfortunatly theres a few ebay wonders selling fakes, but the place ive copied in below will send you the genuine ones. Go for the 8500k 100w lamps. Ive had them in for nearly 4 years and never had any trouble with the wattage or poor life span, Im on the original set and so are all my mates that saw they and ordered there own.
