West Midlands - Can some one fit my Performance exhaust ...

Hello, I have recently bought a Cobra Sport performance exhaust for my Vectra B 2.2 . I plan to buy a remus centre section shortly.

I am unable to get under the car or raise it, so not able to fix it.

I was just wondering , if any members on here, would offer a fitting services in the region.

Could you kindly PM us with a quote , if any of you do..

Also, If I had to take it to a local garage, how much can I expect them to charge me?

Hello mate. There's a chap on here called Benny who does the cam chains and he's in Wolverhampton. He may be able to help.

If you wanted a local garage to fit it, they should not be charging you anymore than £50 and even thats expensive. To fit a cat-back exhaust should take no longer than an hour. Daz fitted me a new downpipe, Remus centre and backbox in just over 30 minutes and that included cutting off the old backbox.

Benny said he would fit it, but guess he was busy.

I had to pick the Remus centre section from Nottingham ( roadrunner ) as LMF did not have any in stock and the delivery was getting delayed...and I wanted it done today.

So I drove about 130 miles in total to pic the centre section up and there was a garage by Roadrunner in Nottingham that did exhausts and tyres/

They fitted my back box and centre section for £25...perfect...the back box was aligned centre and looks nice and sounds awesome...

Well, atleast they make heads turn and look at my car now....lol.... cheers..

they would not accept my Debit card for VAT reasons...lol, they wanted cash. So i asked them where the nearest Cash Machine was. They pointed to one across the street.

I crossed the road, and came back in 5 minutes and it was done!!!

i was called a boy racer as well.....lol...

is it in my head or is the car really responding well and an awesome pick up on 2nd and 3rd gear....n its bcom very nippy, handles all the curves, turns well........

my m8s always used to say that i drive like their 'Nan' lol.. and my brother would never let me give him a lift to work coz he will never get there on time if i was to drive...lol
