Daz - this is the dimensions of this cat i am gonna buy.

Dimensions; Length 405mm, Width 175mm, Height 105mm.
Outlet diameter; External: 55mm

Cat is 16" long, where as mine is 13", and the diameter is 2.25", where as mine is 2", is it gonna be a problem cutting and welding, or is we just cut a bit more pipe of my pipe?..i know you said regarding the diameter it isnt, but what about length?

shud be ok jamme,just take and extra 1.5" from either side and it shud go in...

I automatically thought 200 cells would be smaller than a 400 cell one, not bigger, less cells, or am i being thick again?

he sold this one the other day, it has a 2 yr warrenty, and states it will pass the mot, and is alot smaller, 11".

Thick mate! 400 cells per inch is tighter than 200 cells per inch. Cells are holes. If you can only get 200 holes into an inch then this means the holes are bigger thus allowing more gas thru'.

Well the nice little one isnt in stock yet, waiting for the guy to mail me back when it will be, and the other seems a bit big to be a sports cat in my opinion. Whats the point in having a smaller cell cat if the thing is much bigger than standard!!??!!

Its a Courtenay sport cat. Its the one from my car. Don't know why its smaller than 16 inch. But it works fine.
