K70_RAF Just purchased 308mm brakes and gsi pads and caliper carriers from vauxhall and have also been given wear sensors to go on the pads, do i need these and will they fit?? Also do i need the air deflectors off the gsi?
Lightning_Coupe Unless you already have the wear sensors on your current setup you dont need them, and unless you have the trip computer, they wont have anywhere to plug into so just flog them on ebay or put em in the classifed section. I have the 308mm GSI setup on mine and I didnt bother with the cooling ducts. Just never got round to it and thought they were a little expensive.
K70_RAF How much are those sensor leads worth anyway as i didnt get billed for them?? And should i have got pads without the slot in??
Lightning_Coupe Now that a lot of the mk5 models use the 308's, you can get the discs and pads as a package in the trade club like all the others for about £70ish I think. Its nowhere near as dear as it used to be.
Jamee Anyone got any 308mm/322mm caliper brackets or bigger for me, i will need new discs and pads soon, and i would like to upgrade, but the caliper brackets are a tad expensive.
vocky Jamee I have a set of brand new astra gsi front pads, they are genuine vauxhall, £20 if you want them, can bring them to PV dunno.. they fit most astra's acording to the box 🙂
Jamee Cheers Neil, but i ideally want predator pads has they have very little brake dust, fed up of OEM ones covering my wheels straight away, also didnt think the GSi ones were 288mm, thought they were 308mm?? Thanks again for the offer mate.
