My Astra was in for its 1st service and there was a few things i wanted to be checked under warrenty so after a long cock up by vxl pentagon i got a courtesy car, i was hopping for a nice VXR but ended up with a 2007 5 door 1.2 corsa :? Well ok its better than getting the bus home, or is is it! Feck ths thing was slow, i picked it up with it on the red on the fuel gage so i droped a £5 in which made one difference.... it put the low fuel warning light on :lol: Anyway, ive got it for day the so i thought i would make the most out of by doing my runing around, i soon got bored with it took it home! Got a call, my Astra was ready so off i went 😃 Got on the motorway slip road in 3rd doing 40 mph and floored it...... the bloody thing wouldn`t move past 40 mph...... how embarrassing . Then at a set of lights i really pushed the thing and our 14 yr old lad said " you tryin todo a wheel spin" even he knew how slow the corsa was :lol: Tbh i think there was something wrong with it as it would not move past 3800 RPM in any gear! When i got to the dealers to get my Astra they didnt ask for the courtesy car back, i had to tell them i had it! Back in the astra our lad was holding onto his seat :lol:
Anyway the point of my post is, dont buy a corsa d 1.2, the one i had was very bad and very noisey and imo had very poor build quality, Mandys 1999 Tigra has less rattles and thats 8 years old!
