Ok manifold update, I have just been chasing again to get an ETA as I’m very aware we are getting behind on the quoted time schedule.
Here’s what has happened so far…
The order was placed through GM from Vauxhall here in the UK however some clot (not what I wanted to type) submitted the wrong part number to GM America; doh.. unfortunately his mistake was not spotted for just over 1 week! During which time some of the resevred stock was sold (apparently you can only reserve stock for a given period). There were only 42 manifolds available at this time I told them to wait until they could ship enough to satisfy all the orders having been told that it would only be 5 days to complete the order. This last couple of manifolds came in 12 hours after the boat sailed so we missed that one. noth.
However the boat is on the way with the complete order and will not dock until beginning of next week, then we just have to clear customs. So I think by the time we get them to you we will be about 2 weeks overdue…. All I can say is very sorry about this, I have instructed that the man responsible be kicked in his nether regions, but was told to join the queue as this mistake has held up a whole shipment of LS7 engines for a sports car manufacturer. :evil:
On another note I have been reliable informed that our group buy, has left GM with completely depleted stock in the US and they are on a serious back order. ! With no stock available to thier domestic market, all from Z22se.com :lol:
