More than as stated above wont quote with any mods?? For some reason they class the eibachs springs as a performance modification!! Apparentley makes it go faster as corners better etc...

I need to find a decent quote. Must be able to get it cheaper than £544-94.. (By the way this includes breakdown,protected no claims etc... Fully comp!!!)

I've asked about the springs a few years ago and they said that because the car can corner better, it will mean that the driver will be encouraged to take corners faster thus taking more risk resulting in a possible accident.

I say this............a lot of people who drive cars with extra 'SAFETY' features such as airbags and side impact beams will take more chances because they have more protection around them but they don't get charged extra do they!

That's some quote mate I'm with Adrian Flux only got 5 years driving experience and no n/c but no points or that and all mods declared and told them I was a member of AOC they're charging me £1,500odd :evil: think it is ensign...
I think I need to give them a call f*** I hate them aswell I was gonna change soon as I could it's cause of them canceling my policy every year guess what just when I have been due to renew and it has always been the same I get the form with all the details and mods they send you to fill in at the beggining they were doing the same with my Dad charged him a fortune then tried to give him a new qoute of £800 for his Jag :shock: also when I have had producers as they only send you a laser print of your actual policy the police won't take it I had to get Adrian Flux to right the police a letter dunno..

Try www.greenlight I know some on here have tryed but due to where they live cann't get a quote but worth a try I'm with them as already said flux rips you off on renewal prices so I changed out of spite.

After reading all of the above I decided to ring Adrian Flux today just to see how they can help me at renewal time with all of my mods and the impending inlet manifold.

I declared all, and they came back with a quote of £347 inc. protected no-claims, wife insured and the scope to modifiy further with no change to the premium.

I gave an annual mileage of 3000 miles, told them that the car is garaged and has a Tracker Monitor system. Being a member of VxlSCC helped too by getting a discount.

I will definately being going to Adrian Flux next time.

Not the best quote really but got fed up with ringing around...

That's a good qoute Johnny can't understand why they're charging me so much dunno.. Think I'll see what they come up with as I'm due to renew soon then if they are still wanting crazy money it'll be a change I think just don't know who to go with as when I tell all insurance companies that the car is lowered they won't take me I heard as long as your suspension is TUV or EEC aproved it shouldn't make a difference to the premium but I've not found a company that does that yet by the looks of it it'll be Greenlight...

you lot think ur insurance is expensive when your sayin £500 i got a new qoute for mine and it was £2100 wiv adrian flux and £1700 wiv bell but i am only 19 😛

a bit embarassing when he asked what was the standard power (145) and the modified power (215)

Just renewed my insurance, ended up going with Chris Knott who had offered to beat any quote by 10% cheers.. and they are mod friendly

Tried most of the big companies but elephant/admiral where by far the cheapest
