2.4 inlet gains

Neil mate, what sort of gains will i see from this 2.4 mani then???...Will it really make a difference to performance, especially after its been live mapped??.

Anyone want to buy a ported standard inlet manifold when this one arrived??

the 2.4 inlet manifold seems to add 20+bhp 8)

should work well with your ported tb 🙂

So with a remap, i could be looking at about 185bhp then???...hopefully get some cams next year and the TMS manifold, which will give me about 210bhp hopefully.

Do you reckon the 2.4 will be here by the RR, as ill have daz weld up the sports cat as well and have it remapped???Come home pushing 185bhpish then, big smile!!!

There is a guy on the Dutch Speedster forum who posted a graph of his Speedster before and after:

His car was completely standard before fitting the 2.4 manifold.

so if i wanted ITBs would this still use the 2.4 inlet manifold or would the ITBs replace that part of the system? i am quite new to this, and not quite sure how ITBs work.

the itb's are really designed for high revving engines, over 7000 rpm, that is where they excell showo..

but for a standard revving engine, maximum 6850 rpm, the 2.4 inlet manifold is just too good to be true drool.gif

se2 - at the mo - Ported TB and ported inlet manifold, drilled out pre-cat, veccy c pipes inc bigger inlet pipe, remus 2.5" diameter cat back exhaust, but by the time the 2.4 mani goes on, i hopefully will have a 200 cell sports cat on, piper filter, and after it will be a live remap.

The sport cat is well worth the effort mine made a nice difference especially with my other mods.
