5-30's fully synthetic GM stuff from the dealers. £15 for a 5 littre bottle with my vxscc trade discount. 🙂

I use Shell Helix Ultra 10-40 it's a bit expensive they only sell 4 litre bottles for around £40 then £17 for the other litre you need but as I only put in 4.5 litres in it means I have half a litre their for a top up if I need it...

If anyone is interested, halfords are doing their 5w50 fully synth trackday oil on buy 1 get 1 free at the moment. works out at £3.70 / litre including vat and delivery

The oil is made by comma iirc and while not up to mobil1 / silkolene standards, it's worth a look - especially if you change the oil twice as often!

The club is officially endorsed by vauxhall who pay for the show stands etc. As a member one of the perks is trade prices on parts. 😃 On top of the discounts from regal, courtney and the vauxhall performance center, I get a fair old saving on my car insurance. Not bad for £30 a year. One bottle of oil and the membership has paid for itself. cheers..

i use castrol slx fully synthetic retails 12.95 per litre i work in agarage so its a perk of the job we sell 2800 litres of this every month

I buy 3 x 5ltr semi syn from vauxhall and get 1 x 5ltrs free (an offer they`ve had on for ages at the dealer i use) for round about £26 all in with my discount. Hence the reason I do my oil changes every 3k-4k miles. 😃

Been waiting 4 months for front crank seal, when thats done the Castrol Edge 0W/40W £37/4ltrs + £13/ltr is going back in. Runs a lot smoother than the VX fully synth hot or cold suggesting better lubrication.
Next replacement will be the Castrol 0W/30W usually dearer £43/ 4 ltrs for some reason.
