With all these new options that have now become available I imagine that there will soon be quite a few cars running 200+bhp.

Mine has the Stage 3 TMS set up (ECU remap, Milltek exhaust, ITG Induction kit, Schrick racing cams, gas flowed head), so with the 2.4 manifold and 68mm tb, I'm hoping to hit 200 or go a little beyond. But having just read that the standard injectors are pretty much only good upto 200bhp will this cause fuelling problems, or will the ecu balance this somehow?

I like the idea of 200+bhp but not at the risk of blowing the engine up dunno..

the 310cc injectors and remap added 15 bhp to my engine (200 > 215 bhp)

So even if you had 190, you could get 205 bhp 8)

TMS can supply and fit the bigger injectors with matching remap, so it can be sorted cheers..

You really are a nightmare, do you know that. My wife has no idea the trouble you're going to cause 😉 So if using the standard injectors the ecu won't allow the engine to run under fueled?

you will be close to the maximum the standard injectors can give :roll:

they are designed for a power figure of 165bhp :?

310cc are designed for a 210 bhp engine, which is why I choose them 🙂

if you want a 15 bhp increase in power, then get them fitted 8)

have you been speaking to Luna_s :lol:

note:
the bigger injectors are only suited for engines running over 190 bhp, they won't add 15 bhp to an engine producing 170 bhp.

What about increasing the fuel line presssure with the standard injectors? I know it probably makes more sence to just change the injectors, but that would have to include a remap. If increasing the line pressure delivered more fuel you could get away with fitting one of those FSI valve things and save a few quid on the remap until your ready for it? Dunno, just an idea, personaly id stick with the injectors, but I thought thats what these fsi boost valves where made for?

If the stock injectors are maxed out at 200 bhp on an engine without balance shafts and if the balance shafts are responsible for a 15 bhp loss, can we assume that the injectors are maxed out at 185 bhp on an engine with balance shafts ???
