engine cover

hi all

i want to spray the plastic engine cover up and not sure what undercoat or paint to use does it have to be heat resistant?
any help with this would be appreciated

I used a plastic and vinyl paint on mine - no need to prime just clean thoroughly and apply a couple of coats. Sand back with 400 and add a few more coats. If you want sand back with 1200 and/or polish.

you need to use a plastic or etch primer, then any top coat will stick cheers..

make sure it's oil free, a good solvent degreaser will do the job 🙂
