We've got some sparkies in work this evening, and have cut power to most of the building. They were only supposed to do the 1st and 2nd floor, and leave the ground floor alone, as thats where the comms room is, and the NOC where I work.
They've cut the main power to ALL floors, and took the aircon out. It's 26deg C in the NOC, and touching 40 in the comms room! I've had to call this out to my boss, who's told the guys to STOP all their work, and get the aircon back on ASAP. We do have 2 big airdale units to cool the comms room, but they can't cope without the aircon on as backup.
