Hi chaps (and Ladies), I’ve just had a call from a friend, Ian Redgrave and I’m pleased to tell you that he and his wife Jo are planning an open day at their new venture, MPg or Midpoint Garage. Ian, a trained Vauxhall technician, has been planning to open his own Independent Vauxhall specialist for the some time and this week sees that plan become reality.
Located in the North West close to junction 18 of the M6, just off the road to middlewich, the newly built and fully kitted out garage has all the facilities associated with a main dealer, from key programming to full diagnostics. Be it warrantee approved servicing, or engine modifications, MPg will treat your car with the care and respect you’d expect from a fellow enthusiast, something that is often lacking at your typical dealers. You only have to look at the concourse winning vehicles Ian owns to appreciate his attention to detail.
We have been invited down on Sunday the 14th of October, along with various other Vauxhall clubs, friends and enthusiasts to have a look around at both the garage and each others motors so this makes for a cracking venue for the regions next meet. It’s a really sweet setup with parking for about 200 cars so space isn’t an issue.
Ian has yet to confirm but the day may also include attendance from LMF and Autoglym and with a little luck, a rolling road.

Heading south on the M6, exit junction 18 and go right at the roundabout towards middlewich, 5 minutes up the road you come to another large roundabout, turn left past the salt seller pub down pochin way. When you see the police custody suite, turn right and midpoint is on the left.

P.s. Ian has a 2.2 coupe with every dbilas part ever made for the 2.2 coupe, Dbilas
cams, Dbilas flowmaster intake, Dbilas intake and exhaust manifold, Dbilas head, light weight flywheel and 2.5" exhaust from the manifold back. To say it goes well is an understatement. He knows a fair old bit about our engines and if you ever want any work doing, cams fitting, that sort of thing, I couldnt think of a better place!
