chrisjw I need to whip the backbox off my car. It's a Vectra 150 with the Irmscher rectangular exhaust. Can I just unbolt the joint a couple of inches back and then bolt it back on later? Is there a gasket which will fall apart?
vocky use some oil on the two bolts, the gasket can sometimes break up, but they're only about £8 dunno..
Liam I'd get a couple of new shoulder bolts before you start because they can snap and the thread strips easily when corroded.
RAMBIRKETT You'd be as well getting a new gasket tbh. Its just like a donut with a chamfer on one end.
