It's not your traction control is it? (Usually signified by the light blinking when activated), check to make sure it illuminates during startup then goes out.
I only say this as I'm having a little trouble with mine, for no reason at all and driving in a straight line it will cut in, the symptoms are very similar to what you describe and especially with going round corners .....
