Andy I have read somewhere that its not possible to do the paper clip test on the 2.2 to read the fault codes. Does anyone know if this is true and if so why can't it be done?
dodger andy, this is true on cars that are 2000 (approx) on need a tech2 machine to read the fault codes. If your car is pre 2000 then a tech1 machine is required but does enable you to use a paperclip in the right pins. Hope this answers your question.
