headlight warning

I have just fitted an HID kit to my astra coupe, I had to use relays as they would not work as 'plug and play' now when i turn on my headlights i get a warning on the MFD saying "headlight, taillight" I have checked all of the lights, they are all ok.
What could be causing this and how can I get round it as it is annoying notsure.gif

did you swap the + - wires in the plug in the car?? as the polarity on the ballast are the wrong way round only had this once on may car about a month after i used them i just pressed the comp button to get it off the screen was ok after a day or so also there's no need for the relays as the car has duel reilly's any who one per head light ather than that god knows
