TYRES ON 18`S

quick question looking at getting a set of 18`S... what is the correct tyre size for a vectra b........ tyres on them already seem to be 225x45x18 .....would of thought a 40 or 35 profile would be best.... what are other members using on theres cheers

I`ve got a 35 profile on mine but my width is only 215, not sure what the correct dimensions should be though.

215x40x18 give a closer speedo readout but have heard numerous people say they rub on the arches.
In saying that i have had the std 16" rub and may be down to camber.

my 18's have 215/35/18 but i would recommend 225's if the wheels are larger that 7.5" wide 🙂 stop the rim bashing
