THEONLYDELBOY has any one changed subframe bushes on a 51 vectra. i need to replace the front n/s mount are the pressed in the subframe or is it easyer to get another subrame if so are all vectras got the same sub frame notsure.gif notsure.gif notsure.gif
vocky they are pressed into the subframe :roll: not worth changing the subframe as the bushes only last six months before wearing again, I replaced a complete set once, never again :?
vocky my advice........ pay a garage 🙁 they are not that cheap and I managed to bend one, luckily the dealer had another :roll: a complete pain in the butt to change :evil:
THEONLYDELBOY HELLO AGAIN VAUXHALL SAY THE BUSHES ARE £10 EACH AND IT ABOUT £180 LABOUR DO YOU KNOW ANY ONE THAT MY DO IT CHEAPER IN KENT OR WOULD YOU SAY THATS A GOOD PRICE :roll: :cry: :roll:
vocky they have come down in price, they were about £30 each when I bought six :shock: if there is a problem with one of the mountings then £190 is a fair price, just make sure that's the problem before parting with your hard earned dosh :roll:
THEONLYDELBOY ITS A RIGHT PAIN YES IT IS THE MOUNT AS WHEN YOU JACK THE CAR UP YOU CAN SEE THE MOUNTS SPLIT AND YOU CAN MOVE THE SUBFRAME I WILL GET THEM TO REPLACE THE TWO FRONT ONES. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP cheers.. cheers.. I COULD OF DONE BETTER THINGS WITH THE MONEY..... cryb..
