I've removed pre cat, fitted a remus centre, BMC style airfilter with cold airfeed down to just behind the grill, blanked off EGR valve, Moved fuel pressure pipe down onto the inlet manifold and run tesco 99ron fuel. what sort of bhp am i would i be looking at now notsure.gif

160ish? Really depends on the condition of the engine as well, as to how it responds to the modifications. You'd probably benefit from a remap at some point as well with the mods you've done.

Pretty much the same except throttle porting, oil catch tank and EGR pipe removal. As a guess i would say mine 158 to 163 on a good day, easilly pulls away from the direct 2.2 C shape.
How you got a decent enough size feed from the grill, cut the panelling or something?
Have got a BMC CDA to go on 80mm bore inlet.

I would agree with above, around the 160 mark, you should change the cams next 🙂

Squashed the pipe a bit so it goes underneath the headlight plugs down to behind the lower grill

Thanks, i am tempted to get the hammer out or repo saw again :shock: 😃

Mines a lot bigger than that and will have to go in diagonally with a tilt downwards.
Casing 6" dia would have to butt up close to the upright aircon pipe where the existing inlet pipe is.
The other problem is, so far i havent found any ducting that will enable tight enough bends in 80mm bore, i have the aluminium and the polyurethane so far.
Alum has a larger radius when bent but will collapse, the poly bends a bit tighter but wont collapse and might melt.

Pxc150 had her kit fitted like that...lost nearly 30bhp with it fitted...

Yep, as Daz said, she was loosing nearly 30bhp due to the angle of the pipe from the induction kit.
