Flipping locking wheel nuts!!!! HELP! I need ideas

I've not long had my car, which now has TWO punctures, and the wheels need balancing, and guess what, no flippin locking wheel nut adapter!!!!

So, I goes to the dealer, and they said they cant do sod all until I show them the white card that has the code for the bolts (no sign of that :? )

So, I goes and buys the left handed draper locking wheelnut removers, which wont grip when trying by hand (think I need an airgun????)

SO, I try knocking a 16mm socket over the bolt, but the metal is SO hard, it wont budge.

What the hell can I try next???? Anyone got these off before????

which type of wheel locking nut do you have notsure.gif

the three hole type just need the holes drilling bigger and any key fits, the other types can be removed by kwik-fit etc 🙂

Yes, its the three hole type, but I dont know anyone with a key.

I was hoping the left handed thingys I've got will grip if they are used with an airgun to give it more spin! Im going to try National Tyres near me tonight, in the hope that they'll give it a try. If not, I may be on the scrounge for a key 😉

Ive just had exactly the same problem, had an 18mm socket stuck over one of mine for two days. Ended up finding a garage that had a 3 pin socket that seemed to fit 90% of the ones hes had in. Phone around, see if you get lucky like myself.

Cheers Drakey, if National Tyres cant help, then I think I'll be ringing around, plus i WONT be putting locking bolts back on, there a pain in the ass! 🙁

Well, there finally off thank god! Went to National Tyres, and the VERY helpfull young man used his "Snap On" removal kit (£180 apparantly) and they flew off 😃 He balanced both my front wheels and repaired two punctures, and only charged me £34.00 😃 so I gave him £20 for a pint or two cheers..

It's nice, and it makes a change for a garage to be very helpfull
