Didnt notice anything worth mentioning on mine when changing the exhaust to a Magnex 2 1/2" bore, about the same as fitting a K&N panel- nowt. Would be beneficial with a cat change, its a restiction more so than the std exhaust.
I reckon for driveability and response port the throttle. On mine it felt similar if not better than removing the precat, certainly at lower revs.
