Dynamic oil level control sensor

Hello people need some help, i've had to change the engine in me Astra due to water leaking into the oil. Now i've swaped the engine over for a newer model of the same engine Z22SE but the plug for the Dynamic oil level control sensor are different.

So anyone know how to remove this sensor, it's on the inlet side of the engine at the bottom of the sump looks like its held in with with an E clip but once removed sensor wont pull out notsure.gif

IIRC the sensors comes out from the inside....so that would be a sump off job...I could be wrong tho...vocky shud be able to confirm this tho

easier to cut the wires and swap the plug 🙂

it's quicker to swap the sump complete :roll:

it's also bolted on inside the sump, so changing the sump is quicker :roll:

personally I would get a matching plug from the scrappy 🙂
