Just got back from ipswich looking at this astra sri turbo with my mate.. I must say i was very impressed..

Lifted the hood to find this 😃

Just a couple of questions??

1.This has had the vxr turbo fitted apparentley through courtney.. Now do they upgrade the intercoller as standard? Or maybe someone can tell me by the following piccs.. It looks to me that they have..

Apparentley a stage 3 map or something has been done also!!

Any ideas on bhp anyone?

AS we couldnt find a rolling road print out?

I think maybe this package?? But then im no mechanic @ all notsure.gif

Cheers for the help guys!!! He had no joy with any insurers.. So the garge has refunded his deposit as they did have anu understanding that a refund for the deposit would be granted if insurance was an issue..

I think he may be a tad moree sensible with the next purchase.. Im trying to convince him to get a 2.2 sri astra 😃

I'm suprised he's not been able to get any insurance. Has he got some bad points on his licence or something like that which is preventing them from giving the quote?

Has he tried Hyperformance?
For something like that i would have thought from £600 (£12 p/w) to £800 fully comp considering his age and ncb. They have some good deals at the moment.
No mods will bring the premium down ie strut brace, brakes, etc, i asked.

Adrian Flux last month was 22% dearer than above with no mods declared.

Hi 56k, do you know if your mates got the car?........... my mate at works just said hes picking up an Sri Turbo from Diss (Norfolk/Ipswich way) with Courtenay bits stuffed under the bonnet this Thursday. Needs a hatch for his new puppy, his Jag X-type (saloon) isnt suitable. Before that he had a Yellow VX220 but got rid as his missis has a Street Ka & his journey to work, like mine, was taking it`s toll.

.......anyway, lucky git if it is this one.
