Exhaust Flanges

Anyone know where to get any 3 bolt exhaust flanges with 2.25" internal bore ?
Ive tried all places, some want silly prices (eg 30 quid each :roll: )

theres some on ebay but obviously business isn't his first priority as he takes an age to respond to email altho they are a fiver each so fingers crossed he gets his fingers removed from his a*se :lol:

janspeed is 10 quid each, pretty much everyone else has ignored my emails,
and my local motor factors just looked at me with a blank expression :roll:

if anyone else has any other suggestions or has some cheap, would be great 😃

they seem to be ten a penny in america too, shame if i got my friend to get me some i would see them for three months!

buy some plate and make your own 🙂

also very easy to make

drill three holes

jigsaw / holesaw / drill a big hole

cut to shape 🙂

don't really have the equipment to machine 10 or 5mm steel tho 🙁

'chain drill' the hole and use an angle grinder to cut the shape dunno..

mind you for a fiver I might just buy them :lol:

i've not contacted them before but while looking for mandral bend I found this website. http://www.ojzengineering.co.uk/html/main.html

They do cnc plasma cutting as well as mandral bending

I was after the same thing rather than make one.
Was thinking either Ashley in Walsall or my old mate Nigel http://www.custom-chrome.co.uk.htm which i had loads of bends and three boxes etc last time i went down, more than enough to do a downpipe from turbo, 2 single exhausts inc 2 16" new boxes, Y pieces, chery bomb, straight lengths, etc. Chucked a box load out of what was left, all in £100 ms. Used same exhaust on another car but modded to suit as well. Ignore the prices they make for some well known brands.

Just a thought a scrap downpipe, cut it off and clean up.

My bandsaw packed up years ago and never got round to fixing, the holes are easy for me. Hacksaw 3/8" to 1/2" flat or plate, not that bad but cant be arsed. Lost my supply for metals i have to buy em now and pay over the odds except aluminium, no good in this case.

i havent got any means of producing an accurate drawing, but im looking for similar to the ebay auction,
emailed that ebay one to death, it boils my p*ss when ebay sellers cba to reply to responses, i mean whats the point, its beyond me :roll:

thinking of plan A now, and a total from scratch custom exhaust using sleeve joints will just take longer i guess

If its just 7 to 8mm thick steel plate I may be able to rescue some from the scrap bin at work and make few up. I just need a drawing or template. If its a template I reverse engineer it, program it and produce it.

I can knock up a cad drawing in proe if you want, it'll take a couple of minutes if you give me the dimensions you need.

ill try my best which isnt the best :roll: (im using a kids school ruler for this :lol: ) hope its ok

red line is 72mm
blue is 90mm
green is 10mm
now yellow i'm measuring at 55mm which is weird turbo pipework is odd
would be better at 57mm (2.25")

found this on ebay.com (why do they have all the goodies and cheap at that :roll: )

problem is i need about 6 of these (one for ubend, one for downpipe, 2 for cat and 2 for decat) altho any help is appreciated

i've bidded on the ones on ebay, ill see what happens at auction end (still had no response from him yet :roll: )
