Since i have owned the car there has been a slight delay when i change gear quickly at high revs? It looses a bit of power during the change for a split second?
Also when i have been reving it hard it also smells like burning inside the car.
The most recent thing which started yesterday is that when i have been driving the car, i go to get out and there is a nastey burning smell.. This is definatley not comming from under the bonnet notsure.gif
Does anyone think these problems are linked??
Is there a way i can find out if my cat is shafted? Apart from taking it apart??
The other thing is if the cat is the problem will it be easy for me to change and put a sports cat on there? Do i need any extra pipes or anything?
Maybe take it to a local tyre and exhaust place??
