My usc purchase...

Basically i bought an aftermarket grill... And im really not sure about it???

Cost £40 and they reckon it was reduced from £60?? A couple of things about it:

Doesnt sit snug right on the edges!!
Stands out like a sore thumb i think..

Im going to go with it for a couple of weeks but i reckon it will end up on e-bay lol..

Ideally i wanted the irmscher one like drakeys!! But was trying to cut cost as they go for about £70 I beleive?

Pictures will follow when photobucket maintanience crew get there a**** in gear!!

Don't worry about Photobucket. Use our own hosting service. Have a look at the right hand end of the tabs under the 'Subject' box when you post a message. You can then post your pics directlt to the site.

Nothing wrong with that notsure.gif Really quite like it,.... did you paint the lower surround black?
Really opens up the front end, looks fine. 8)

I didnt paint it drakey thats how it came...

I will say though it does go well with the bottom grill as its almost the spitting image..

Is it easy to seperate the grill from the surround (lower section), spray silver or attatch to your old lower section?
Still like the look of though.

Was thinking that colour code the surround for starters and see what it looks like.
Possibly paint the lot.
Mines a mesh one needed in a hurry at the time, the partridge lost but left his mark.

Yeh i may try seperating the two and see what it looks like then 🙂

I agree with Hareng, definately needs the surroung colour coding, as it just looks too black and open, as if something is missing (if you get what I mean?)

gonna get one myself. just got new bonnet prepainted so gonna fit some chrome bonnet struts and one of the badgeless grills
