Getting rid of an old prog

I tried putting Nero on my pc a while back and it failed. It's Nero Demo 7. Anyway it would not work. I am running Vista on my pc and I have tried lots of versions of Nero but no luck. Tonight I have tried to get rid of the old version I had put in a while back but it won't uninstall dunno.. . It's going on about a dll file and it just closes the deleting program off. I have tried just deleting the folder from the program files but it won't go notsure.gif . I think this is the problem thats stopping my other Neros from working. Any help would be great... :razz:

Sure i had the same trouble last year. In the end i slapped on Nero 7.5.9.0 released 27 Nov 2006.

Tried downloading the latest version?
It should update and self delete other previous versions. So if that works it can be deleted in the add/remove programmes in control panel. After can manually delete the folders.

if you cant get it to unstall try doing it while the computer is in safe mode dunno..

Not sure how to do that. I think when I put a newer nero in it's going into the same location as the old one and trying to bond with it, but it won't and closes the install off. I think I will try and remove it now. I did get rid of most of it yesterday but 2 files would not move

you need to right click and 'run as administrator' then delete

yea make sure your account is administrator other wise you cannot do certain tasks

How do I do this as admin as I don't know how to access that part on Vista yet. I should be admin anyway as I am the only person who uses it. What do I right click to run a admin? Cheers
