I've done 35K on a set of the PTR5A-10 NGK platinum spark plugs that Carlos posted above and they were fantastic, the only reason I renewed them was because I had a fault with my lifters as posted in a different thread and so I replaced the plugs trying to eliminate the fault. And Ive put exactly the same back in. As you all know, tripple electrode plugs dont give a better or stronger spark just because theres three electrodes, they just last longer as the spark will always jump to the nearest one, and so spread the wear around the center electrode. The single platinum plug is just a lot harder wearing and judging by the set I took out, they still had a little life in them. Which is better? I wouldnt like to say, you can research that for yourself, and if you find a difinitife reason why ones better than the other than please let me know, but I will say this, the spark pattern than comes from the fine point of a platinum plug looks very impressive.
