engine mount bolt torque settings

I have searched but came up with 49 pages of posts.

Anyone know what the front and rear engine mount bolt torque settings should be?

the rubber mounting are all 60Nm
but
which specific bolts do you need to know, they are all different :roll:

Thanks very much for the info on the rubber mount.

I am planning to fit the powerflex inserts to the front engine mount of my 2.2l VX220.

I have seen an illustrated guide which shows 2 E20 torx bolts that appear to be the top and bottom fixings that hold the mounting bracket to the chassis? I am presuming the guide I have seen is appropraite for the VX and that I will need to tighten these two correctly.

60Nm will be fine for all the bolts 🙂

I removed the alloy mounting from the gearbox to fit them on my vx220, quite easy to do, just a pain removing the engine tray :lol:

don't remove the chassis mounting plates, just the engine mounts as per the how2 🙂

I think the other alleged advantage of fitting them is easier gear changes as there is less engine movement affecting the cables.

I've just finished fitting the rear one and welding a mapping lambda fitting to the exhaust :roll:
