When I start my car first time it runs great starts furst time no problem.
If I stop to go to the bank or anything and turn the engine off then the engine runs like its its not firing properly.
The engine light comes on and the car is so low on power that it cant be driven properly.
I then turn the engine off and it wont start unless I have my foot right down on the pedal then it starts and if I give it lots of revs then it will clear itself and runs ok again.
So if I stop at a bank machine and have to start my car again I have to drive off at a million miles an hour from it to make sure that my car runs properly. ( Looks well dodgy ).
I have a mate who is a Tech 2 and he has been kind enough to bang it on the Tech 2 machine and it said that it was either the throttle sensor or the ECU.
I changed the sensor and he put on a new earth to the ECU just incase there was a fault there and it still ran like shite. He has even RE-Programmed the ECU for me and it still hasnt done any good.
The thought might now be that maybe there is a problem with the EGR Valve? Does anybody have any experiences of this problem?
