vocky GM introduced the new chain into engine production march 2002, BUT the engines will be fitted to late 2002 and 2003 models all vectra B 2.2's have the old small jet 🙁 all vectra C 2.2's have the later jet 🙂

alanstraw cam chain Hi there all Just been reading some of the replys to the cam chain problems can anyone tell me?I have a astra 2.2 sri on a 2003 52 plate will this have had the recall work done or did it not need it any reply would be much appreciated :roll:
vocky a 2003 model should be ok, look at your logbook and see if the engine number is above 11064500 dunno..
baldie87 my coupe is a 52 plate registered at the very end of the yr and had the new style jet in showo..
alanstraw Thanks for that baldie87 That puts my mind at rest but going to get it cheked out to be on the safe side and possibly change the chain 😃
