Car of the month?

Should we hold a vote for the car of the month from this forum. We will vote on the best car, including best mods, how clean it is and so on. I don't know how to start this though :lol: :roll: . Ideas please 😃 . The car voted will be made sticky for a month til the next one comes along :wink: . We could probably turn this into a prize thing what..

Good idea fella, just get everyone to submit some pics then do a poll! We could have a feature car section on the home page so every one can see the pic of the winning car. have a look at www.corsasport.co.uk it will give you an idea.

How about you create a new section called monthly car comp or somthing like that.

Then members can post pics of cars and a writeup and hen it goes to a members vote for the winner?

just a thought.

Give every one a chance to post up some pics, then the week after do a poll! Then you announce the winner after that week!

You could chose pics from peeps garages or start a tread where every one post a pic of Body, Engine and interior for a poll final!!!!

Ok here is what i think.

Create a section for the car of the month, in here you can ask for pics and put polls up etc.

At the begining of each month put a post up asking who wants to be entered into the car of the month feature and for anyone wishing to nominate their car then post a few pics up but no more than 3.

If there is anyone interested then allow a week for people to post a few pics up of their cars and a brief description of mods done. Also state that any pics posted after the week is up will not be entered and will be deleted.

After the week is up then put a poll up so people can vote for their favourite car, let the poll run for a week.

Then the winner gets a week to write up a full description of their car and categorise their mods in the same format as the garage section i.e Interior/Exterior/ICE/Engine etc and forward their write up along with pics to admin.

Admin then have a week to get the feature sorted ready for the coming month.

Also would it be possible to have the feature car as the home page for the site and have a link to the forum section on there somewhere.

Well it's now up and running. We need some good ideas for this :wink: . What does the best car picked get out of it and so on. It will probably need a feature on the site what.. . Let me know what you lot think 😛

Maybe the car of the month can be put up as the banner for the month, so every new car will be on the picture on the main forum index what..
