Yeah i heard about the aircon pipe price, they have a tig welder at work, One of the engineers is going to try and weld it for me, its worth a go.
Your spot on about the suspension, it feels so much tauter and level through the corners. I couldnt lower it because i'd drown it next time it floods
No mention of cam chain change, it'll still have the smaller oil jet in i imagine so that will need doing at some point.
The engine does respond differently to my old one, this one seems to accelerate from just about anywhere in the rev range, where my old one only really became alive approaching 4krpm.
One thing it does that ill try sorting, if i'm in 3rd gear at low engine speed, say 1.5k rpm, if i put my foot down, it'll begin to accelerate, then hold back a bit, then accelerate like normal again. Its only brief, its usually pulling again by 2k rpm. Anywhere higher it doesn't do it.
Drivers disc is heavily corroded, and has a very uneven surface, the rust has worn the pad away, and braking is more or less non existent on that corner.
If everything on it was perfect i probably wouldnt have been able to afford it
