Thought i'd start a new thread here to try to brighten the place up a bit 🙂

Also wanted to show you my poor old car as it stands at the moment, she's a 2000 2.2 sri in metallic black. No bodykit or cruise control 🙁 but everything else is there and the engine seems in good order.

I want to get some new bumpers and skirts, then have them sprayed along with the side strips, then its onto some new alloys and a brake upgrade.(if i get the money/time lol) Then some engine mods maybe drool.gif <dream over>

Anyway my local friends please post some piccys up of your motors..

Astra looks great, nowt wrong with standard, just means we all get to see your car as you progress with mods, nice one.

Thanks Andy,
Its the LPG filler cap, but its knackered.
Check my old threads if you want to laugh at the problems its caused and the money Ive wasted fault finding!!!
Big lack of research on my part.

ah i see, sorry to mention it, will have a browse sometime as i know nothing about lpg, just wondered what it was, tell other peeps its the NOS repressure valve flap. 😃

Ha Ha, I wish (mint)..... if only I new what to look for under the bonnet!!!! (troubled Vectra under all that polish)

Im out in the sticks abit at Rackheath, im sure you heard of it. I've managed to secure a new job and start at the begining of August but my old employer wasn't too happy about it and let me go early woohoo.gif so im at home atm. Sounds like a good job drakey, browsing at work! tssk tssk you should feel ashamed 🙂 only kidding...hoping I can do the same at my new place..

Hope the new job goes well, sort of went past a Rackheath turning on my way from Norwich to Coltishall (when I worked there) so I know roughly where you are, dont think Ive ever been into Rackheath itself?

thx drakey re job, can i edit the thread title?? to east anglian pics and chit chat :lol: Yeah rackheath is quite spread out and covers quite a large area, lots of people get lost around these parts, even ambulance drivers! Used to be an old USAF base and airfield here in ww2. Im not far from Salhouse really.
