right , im going over vxl's later, ordering part #9231937 for the inlet pipe, anything else???...whats the part # for the veccy c pipe for the airbox, may as well do that as well.
Ordered the little stainless filter from ebay, and might buy the sports cat @95 if someone can weld it up on the meet?

Jamee, I've been having issues ordering the Veccy C pipes from my local VX dealer. If you can, could you order me a set as well?

To do Vectra C intake on Astra G mod you will need:

Main Pipe (#9177099) - £6.60 + vat = £7.75

Adaptor (#9177104) - £5.65 + vat = £6.64

Total mod: £12.25 + vat = £14.39

Yes if i pop down i will have a look at your paintwork also i may bring down my pc / Rotary and do a couple of demo sessions dunno..

Jamee, i have asked the q in another thread to confirm but i think some members have had EML issues when sports cats have been fitted.

Stick with the first pipe mate. You've got the breather filter so there's no need to worry about that extra hole now.

Johhny \ Vocky did you have any issues with a sports cat and EML light? I read in a thread about having to have some fudge or somthing like that dunno..

I had an issue with the EML. I had to have the O2 Simulator fitted.

Slices into the loom with the earth lead going directly to the battery. That is a MUST.

if i buy this sports cat of ebay then , is a garage going to know how to do it all???
Looking forward to fitting all these bits and removing the pre cat, cant wait to drive home....

Jamee,

Any decent garage will be able to fit the parts you are looking at fitting esp if they can weld in house. May be worth shopping around labour prices can vary, but somtimes you get what you pay for.

Also dont forget all these mods are doing you need to declare to your insurance co too.

100 cell cat's can cause eml 🙁

200 cell are normally ok dunno..

300 cell are fine 🙂

400 cell is standard :roll:
