Mark_Dj As some of you may know I am having trouble getting my deadlocks to work and alarm to come on. The thing I have just noticed is the door pin switch on the drivers door now only has one pin, as I replaced it as I thought it was broke. I replaced it with a one pin switch and I thought it was fine at the time as my interior light worked. The harness has two pins and so does my old pin switch. So will this make my alarm and deadlocks not work notsure.gif . Cheers for any info
vocky drivers door should be a two pin notsure.gif vectra's normally have two pin drivers door switches, might be worth borrowing one from your vectra dunno..
Mark_Dj I did take one from my Vectra but it was from the rear door. My brother has my Vectra at the moment as he has gone to wales with my mother. Would that still make my alarm and deadlocks play up?
Mark_Dj Well the interior light is not working with the original pin fitted again and my central locking is working, but not my deadlocks and alarm. I will get a new switch tomorrow from Vauxhall. When I fit the one pin switch the central locking and interior light works..
Mark_Dj Well it's all working again now after putting on two new switches, my deadlocks and alarm are now working 🙂.
