2.2 Quick shift's

A member from another forum I visit is doing a group buy on the Quick Shift device for the 2.2 range (cable gear box). They throw is reduced by 35%. If anyone is interested let me know.

It also fits the Turbo cars mate. It's for the Fly-By-Wire cable box, it's a mod both the Turbo and 2.2 owners are doing :wink:

Mines ordered. I'll post on here when I get it fitted and let you all know, A how easy it is to fit and B, what sort of a difference it makes.

Cool, I have been told it's easy enough to fit and as for the difference it means you get through the gears alot quicker so beating a normal 2.2 without one :wink:

Yep seen this link, this is where I got some of my info from. But look at the easy acces they have on the VX220.

Nicely laid out how to though.

Ive just bought one and i'm not looking forward to fitting it!
The ABS unit is in the way and the average time is about 3 hours!!!!

Some people have tried, failed then taken it to vauxhall to get it done.......

Sounds like a plan if you have the cash!

Don't be put off by it. Look at the how to guide on the forum, I wrote it and it really is not too bad a job. The reason it takes so long is that you have to remove the battery and tray for access. Plus the time quoted does include putting it all back again.

Save yourself £150 and give it a go.
