average mile per gallon for city and motorway driving in your 2.2's😃

my vectra used to do 22 mpg around town, now back up to 27-28mpg 🙂

Not sure what mine is doing but I put £20 in the other day and I will be needing the garage again soon. I have nearly reached 100 miles on that £20 lol

Mine was 23-23 around town...now gone up to 26mpg since moving my fuel pressure reg vacumn pipe

Tough one to call as it all depends upon the stop starts and length of time stationary, something Veccies dont like. Even so 26 round town and at 4000rpm motorway 36mpg with a few blips.

I never really work out the MPG all i know is that from mixed driving i get no more then 320 from a full tank and normally no less then 275!!

when my mum or i have the misses in the car i get up to 35 maybe 40mpg... on my own...26mpg

23/25mpg round town. 40mpg at 60mph on the m/way. 35mpg at 70mph.

And if really giving some off the traffic lights I can get it down to 8mpg on the Instant Consumption readout!!

I dont pussy around, i drive with almost an eye on the instant mpg, the Veccies take time to get up to speed mainly due to its fat weight. Fractionally back off, consumption will go up and if you know there is a hill coming up, put your boot down now and see 30+ at top, else sub 15mpg if you dont.
