Exhaust prediciment??

I'm in a bit of a pickle as usual trying to understand what to do for the best. I want a 2.25" cat-back system. Basically I don't know what to go for. I've been looking at Magnex and Remus. The Magnex comes with either a Remus straight thru' centre pipe or it comes with a Magnex centre section which consists of 2 centre boxes. Which is the best to go for? I'm assuming that the Remus centre pipe is only 2" dia?

The other package is a Remus backbox and Remus straight thru' centre pipe.

What is the best to do for my car?

I had the middle pic on my vec150, perfect, not too noisy and good performance 🙂

Heard a full remus section today on jamee's coupe...and it was alot quiter than mine...

should suit your mods 🙂

but a 4-1 manifold will give MORE performance increase 😃

Quite correct 63.5mm o/d, so should be 2 3/8" internal bore.

A worthwhile investment but not cost effective on a standard engine maybe 1hp at best, same with K&N panel.
Yeah we need a nice manifold to bolt straight on or to modify/make up without shifting the engine forward.

regal's 4-1 and thorney motorsport's 4-1

both fit without moving the engine 🙂

My money would be in Regals pocket me thinks. £1200 from Thorney is a bit rich even for me.

I quite fancy a Magnex 2 box center section to mate to my letterbox (I'm afraid a Remus would p**s off the neighbors) but I can't find part number for the center section alone ???
