Are dogs as intelligent as small children?

I read an article in the news paper the other week about dogs being as intelligent as a 12-15month old baby.

We had a BBQ the other week at my friends house. His son, and my dog:

both begging for food :lol:

looks like the human has had some food and the canine has not notsure.gif

so humans win :lol:

Maybe they have both eaten and the human had trouble finding his mouth so dog wins

I know plenty of small children that are more intelligent than some drivers out there!

Dog managed get all food eaten, where as baby needed help
