blue_se2 This is mine now What i done was cut off the flange on the end of the pipe. I used the old gasket as a template and cut out an identical one without the centre hole and sanwiched it in this order Old gasket new template old flange. I wanted to use the old flange because the bracket that holds the engine cover on is bolted to the flange and that way iI did not need to use a spacer to put the bracket back on. Sjdickso Right i am just getting my head around this, I presume you leave the egr valve in place with this mod (if it is not faulty). May i ask why you bother blocking the inlet side off ? could you just not block the side off with your tin template and leave the pipe work to the inlet side??
blue_se2 You could simon but another reason for getting rid of the egr pipe is. If you open the butter fly valve in you TB fitted to your car the egr pipe sits inside the hole about an inch so removing the whole pipe improves air flow. vocky the blanking disc [2p 🙂 or 10p :shock: ] is held in place by the sealing O ring and metal clip, it's not possible for the blanking disc to enter the engine, the hole is the size of a 5p 🙂

vocky my new 2.4 manifold had no egr hole to fill :lol: I'm selling the 2.2 manifold with a 2p plug, must increase the price notsure.gif
