paul_7_7_7 Just noticed that the dealer has overfilled the oil - it is about 5mm up the stick over the max mark, a little way before it becomes flexible, which to me suggests about a half litre overfill if the stick in linear. What if any problems could this cause, is it something I should get them to fix? Paul
JohnnyN If it were me i'd either phone them and complain and then drive very carefully back to the dealer or i'd just let some out. Depending on how your oil pressure is, the worst that could happen is you may blow a seal somewhere. notsure.gif
JohnnyN I thought it was 5 ltrs dead on. Thats what it says in the owners manual and Haynes. Wasn't it the gearbox that you have to overfill? notsure.gif
Sjdickso I heard they changed it to 4.75 there was a field remedy no, but i have always had 5ltrs when mine has been serviced. Like vocky said though its hard to get a spot on reading.
paul_7_7_7 Yes, I found the remedy about the fill level change, looks like someone at the dealer put the full 5 litres in, (maybe even more). Anyway dealer sorted it today, they just drained about half a litre out.
