New Pads

I changed the brake pads on the front of my car the other day and I have just washed my car and looked down at the discs, and noticed the pads don't look like they are hitting the disc all the way notsure.gif . You can see on the discs that only about half the pads are working on the disc what.. . Anyone know any info on this for me. Cheers

think you may have fitted them wrong mate do you have any pics ???

i had the same problem. allow 500 miles for them to bed in as it sounds like your discs are fairly worn. mine didnt bed even after 1000 miles so threw the new pads and the old discs in the bin. went down to vxl and brouht disc and pad kit for about 40 quid with my special discounts. you cant not fit front pads correctly. they either slot in or they dont, just give them tme to bed in

I fitted them ok, I just put them in the same way they come out. I have done a few sets now on my own. They work fine notsure.gif

would it not be better to just get some new discs before the bads adjust to the old discs?

I would like some 😛 , I would like grooved ones but I will have to look into a price for them 🙂

New pads normally have an edge took off which might make u think there not sat right? Just a thought.
