judd2_2 I come across this on ebay and wondered if anyone has tried it? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Electric-Supercha ... dZViewItem Is it too good to be true an extra 20bhp for under £150? dunno..
TimSri "Revs to 25000 rpm"...... Says it all really. Just goes to prove you can sell anything on ebay. An absolute joke and total waste of time.
ara_ara_ara vocky said: just a gimmick  it does work in away. i've tried it with a electric ducted fan from my EX electric F16 which pumped out 2lb of thrust in a free air flow enviroment. but it seems to only give it a better response. but no real power felt.. i think it realy only gets rid of the air friction through the air filter only.. no real boost.. but it does make a realy loud whistle noise....WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
vocky the problem is the air pressure cannot build up, the pressure leaks back through the fan, so it will never work. a supercharger stops the pressure from leaking back to the filter and so performance improves. so a 'gimmick' it is
rushy Believe it or not a guy on the vectra c forums rolling roaded his vec with a leaf blower attached to his car, and you guessed it, it gave no power increase what so ever.
