After having brand new brake pads fitted i have noticed that when i go in reverse and brake it makes a click noise and then once ive gone forward it doesn the same - took it back to garage who tell me that the little metal bit on top of the main pad carrier is worn and is still safe to drive - is this common and apparantly i can order separatly - what part no would i need. anyone......
